Prostate cancer symptoms - what is Stephen Fry’s condition?

Stephen Fry has been diagnosed with prostate cancer, the presenter has revealed.

Fry revealed his diagnosis during a video on his Twitter timeline.

Prostate cancer is one of the most common cancers in the UK, according to the NHS.

There may no signs that you have the disease for a number of years.

Prostate cancer symptoms only show once the tumour has grown large enough to put pressure on the urethra.

Signs of the condition include needing to urinate more frequently - often during the night.

Having a weak flow of urine could also be a sign of the disease.

Other symptoms can include needing to rush to the toilet, and feeling the your bladder has not emptied fully.
